Voice Recorder & Audio Notes
App-only demonstration of a user-started microphone foreground service. Android package: com.cidev.voicerecorder. Version 1.0.0.
What the demonstration shows
- The user opens the app and taps Record.
- Recording controls show the elapsed time, a marker, and pause/resume actions.
- Recording continues after the user leaves the app. The ongoing notification identifies the recording and provides Pause and Save controls.
- The user returns, saves the recording and starts playback.
No sign-in, subscription or payment is required. Microphone permission is requested when starting a recording if it has not already been granted. This demonstration uses an Android emulator and disposable app data; it is silent and does not demonstrate physical microphone fidelity.
